Privacy, plainly.

The game remembers your player profile using browser storage and a session cookie. Your public name, avatar, rank and match history can be seen by other players. Chat messages are visible in their respective lobby or match.

Friends and spectators

Public Ranked and Casual matches can be watched live, including names, turns, typed words, and results. Private rooms and practice cannot be spectated. Match chat remains restricted to its players. Your friends list and requests are private to you; accepted friends can see whether you are online and watch your public matches. Removing a friend removes that presence access. Room codes and private-room activity are not shared with friends.

Feedback

When you send a report, we store your description, any word you explicitly include, your public player ID, and the match reference for up to 30 days. Only the site owner can review reports. Chat history and typed words are not attached automatically.

Lightweight site analytics

To understand how the game is used, we record visits to the arena, daily challenge and how-to-play page, the referring website’s hostname, and a broad mobile or desktop category. A separate random browser identifier lets us estimate returning visitors. It is not linked to your player profile. We do not put your IP address, chat messages, typed words, name, or full referring URL in analytics records.

Page-view records are kept for 90 days. The anonymous identifier expires after one year, and inactive visitor records are removed after one year. Aggregated match starts, completions, first completions, matchmaking wait times and rematches are counted from game state. Optional analytics also records invite opens, successful invite joins, and completed result-share actions using event names and anonymous browser hashes. These records last 90 days and do not include player names, room codes, messages or words. Only the site owner can access the dashboard. The hosting platform may separately process request logs to operate the site.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable visit tracking. You can also opt out on this browser below without affecting gameplay.
